Deleting a branch is permanent. Although the deleted branch may continue to exist for a short time before it actually gets removed, it CANNOT be undone in most cases. Continue?
Keep the octopus/boss planet out of the scanner initially. Once four ordinary planet types have been discovered, add the boss planet to the scanner targets and verify the unlock state and UI.

Implemented in
8fbcc34. The scanner initially exposes the four ordinary signatures only. The Tentacled World target appears only after rocky, gas giant, black hole, and research lab worlds have all been visited; selecting it resolves the unique boss chunk. UI and state gating are covered by test_planet_scanner.gd.
