Implemented in d413d1d. TouchJoystick now exposes an idempotent release_input API and joins a shared touch_joysticks group. NarrationBanner releases that group before applying its pause, so both movement and fire sticks stop, recenter visually, and cannot resume from a swallowed finger-up event. Covered by the new test_dialog_releases_joysticks plus joystick control/recentering, dialog typing/pause, and post-dialog input regressions.
