Gas bomb. The blast used to stop politely at anything the player owned, which made a bomb dropped on a besieged mothership a free way to sweep the attackers off it. Everything inside the radius is inside the radius now - where it lands is the decision the weapon asks for.

Fast vessels. A vessel arriving above 420 units/s damages what it hits, scaled by how much faster than that it was going and capped so no engine upgrade turns a hull into a wrecking ball.

Two details that mattered more than the rule itself:

  • Caught on entry, not on the strike tick. The 0.7s tick is right for a siege but wrong for a collision - a vessel is only moving fast for the instant it arrives. A ship sent in at 900 did no damage at all until this moved to entry.
  • Docking is free, and garrisons are exempt. The fleet sits on its own mothership constantly to bank ore; if that hurt, the economy loop would grind the player's buildings down. And garrison vessels launch from their outpost and re-dock with it at speed - the suite caught the ram rule destroying the garrison the moment it launched.

If you meant something else by "damage to building" - enemy structures rather than the player's own - say so and I will turn it round; the change is small and contained.
