Done in 7489528.

The projectile flew at 850, which took 1.1 seconds to cross the gun's own range - long enough that a shot read as leaving the ship rather than as hitting something. It is 1400 now, and the interceptor's range goes 950 to 1200. So a shot crosses its full range in 0.86s, and the gun comfortably outranges the 620 that standoff enemies hold at.

Worth knowing: a projectile's lifetime is derived from its range and speed, so making it faster does not make it fall short - the range line the aim guide draws and the distance the bolt actually travels stay the same number. The test pins that arithmetic rather than trusting it, and also pins that the default gun outranges the enemies that stand off from it, which is the thing a speed change could quietly break.
